We are truly locally owned, owned by the very members who use the services of the credit union. There are no outside investors or owners of North Alabama Educators Credit Union. Value is returned to our member-owners in the form of higher savings rates, lower loan rates, and reduced fees on products and services.
National consumer groups consistently rank credit unions as a good financial choice for consumers. Being a member-owner rather than a customer does have its benefits.
